Evanescence, Lindsey Stirling Launch Full-Orchestra Tour
LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Evanescence and pirouetting violinist Lindsey Stirling have announced a co-headlining summer amphitheater tour kicking off in Kansas City, Mo., July 6.
Both artists are expected to be accompanied by a full orchestra, an accompaniment that fits the music for both acts like a glove. Evanescence and Stirling recently collaborated on the song “Hi-Lo,” which is on Evanescence’s latest album, Synthesis.
The tour wraps at Sunlight Supply Ampithe3ater in Ridgefield, Wash., Sept. 8. In between it hits sheds like Mattress Firm Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, Calif., Aug. 31, Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif., Sept. 5, Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Va., July 24 and Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati July 14. The acts also stop at the Ravinia Festival in Chicago July 10.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at LiveNation.com March 9 at 10 a.m. Evanescence will offer a limited numbe3r of VIP packages that will include attending sound check and a champagne toast with the band. Stirling offers a package that includes a pre-show party and exclusive merchandise. Those packages are offered through the artists’ websites.
