Reactions As Alleged Impersonator Of Adwoa Safo Who Helped To Pass 2022 Budget Is Fished Out Pho

There are claims that Dome Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Lawyer Adwoa Safo was impersonated in parliament during the passing of the 2022 budget yesterday.

A strange photo of a woman who showed up in parliament allegedly impersonating Adwoa Safo has popped up on social media.

According to reports, the lady is supposedly the sister of Lawyer Adwoa Safo and her name is Becky Safo.

Apparently, Adwoa Safo who was on a long time leave holidaying outside the country could not make it to parliament as of the time the budget was being passed and she strangely got replaced.

Report says Adwoa Safo is present today and she’s looking very much different from the lady who allegedly impersonated her with a huge face mask yesterday.

The 2022 budget was passed yesterday, November 30th by the majority in parliament.

According to reports, the minority caucus were absent for delibrations after they failed to reach an agreement on the budget status.

The First Deputy Speaker, Joseph Osei Owusu sat in for the Speaker to ensure that the budget was approved.

“The House has adopted the Financial statement and approved the budget statement for the ensuring year ending 31st December 2021.”

“This House has approved the budget and economic statement,” he said.

The First Deputy Speaker also noted that the Minority’s rejection of the budget was unconstitutional because they needed more than half of the house to pass it because 137 members of parliament were not enough to make that decision.
